Leadership collaboration and testing practise.(subject Business development and leadership)

In the left corner of this picture, we are trying a new way of learning and self testing by memorycard. We did it as a competition, where winning students of each team had a final duel, where the final winner got some extra points in the upcoming test as a bonus. The rest of the pictures shows an exercise of collaboration. The class was divided into two, each team equipped only with sissors, a few paper sheets and tape. The only information given to both teams was that the bridge should be able to carry a smartphone. Each group was responsible for making half of the bridge, communicating only via  spokesmen. The goal was ofcourse to be able to put the two halfs into one, having the same width and stability. We did succeed :)- All of this can be seen as a way to involve more of practical studies into a heavy subject normally tought in a theroretical way.

As you can see in the background, the school is situated close to the river that divides Gothenburg in two, the "Götaälv" with it's characteristic construction cranes. Also this picture even more clearly shows a surrounding dominated by office buildings.

This is the entrance of the school before it was re-decorated. The school is growing rapidly and is in constant need of new facilities. Nevertheless you get the impression of a school situated inside an office building. The school is concentrating on VET eductaion, such as business and administration, styling, constructing, music and hotell & event.
