There are also educational visits for the students. Here is a picture from a 5 star hotel in Gothenburg that we visited with two of the classes.
The students find it most interesting to get to know how different hotels and restaurants works and they asks a lot of questions when we make our visits.
Wow !!!! What a fantastic looking hotel. What did the students do when they visited. In Australia our students also have these visits and they seem to learn a lot. Our teachers often give the students work to do while they are on their visits. Do you do this?
ReplyDeleteWe have contact persons at the different hotels that gives us a guiding tour, showing the students different kind of rooms, different patrs of the hotel and answer questions.
ReplyDeleteDuring the visit, the students doesn´t do any work but after we give them tasks that is connected with the visit :)
...different parts of the hotels... I´m writing a bit too fast ;)
ReplyDeleteI think thats a good idea to give tasks after so they can focus on one piece at a moment and they can have there sences clean for inspirations an impressions only.
