It is certainly the case that when students have real tasks to do they become very engaged in their learning. In Australia we call this "authentic" learning.Do you find that the students learn their theory more easily when they have had this practical experience?

ReplyDeleteAs you said, when the students feel that it is authentic they really try harder and think it´s more fun.
It´s certainly the best way of learning; "learning by doing" even though it´s not easy carrying plates.
