In Sweden we say steam for this item, also in swedish we say kokgryta. What do you call this in Australia ? anyway this is where the students learning how to make meat stock, vegetable stock and different household dishes.




Here is another learningsituation where the teacher uses some digital help by a video at this time. Nutritionlesson about fat. Very common in this days didactic to use diffrent digital educational aids

  1. When the students works in the kitchen, is there a lot of injuries when they work with the mashines and knifes?

  2. From my experience it's rather common that the students get some miner cuts with the knifes. Because of there less experience of working with knifes. But it's not so common that they get bad injuries of working with mashines.

  5. We had one student some months ago who put her hand into the steamer and broke her hand. She made some operations and is still out of school and can´t move her hand normaly. There the ambulance nurses was taking care of her.
