  3. All the text books the students require are offered at the bookshop and the cost is born by the student. any material fees can be included in the cost of the subject or the student will need to puchase these items themselves. What happens in Sweden?

    1. In the restaurant school were i was practising they dont have books. Everything was on computer or the black board. So the student have to write down everything on paper.
      Sometimes they get stencils too.
But all homeworks and tasks go by the computer.

  4. Hi :)
For the students in the Hospitality education some books are "e-books" that you get from the internet, unfortunable that doesn´t always work because of system failure. Otherwise the students get to loan books from the school and for us that goes the education for VET, we have to find and buy all the books ourselfs. It can be a struggle sometimes when the books are hard to find.

    1. Hi Maria

I see there are similarities between Australian and Swedish technology - sometimes it does not work!! In my Business department we still use text books, because compter labs are a scarce resource.

  6. Like Maria said, we find and purchase the books for our students, but I would love to see a shop like this at our school anyway. It would be great for the students if there was a place for them to go and buy pens, paper and any other stationary they would need.
